Custom software for Supermarkets & Retail Stores

Keep checkout moving. Keep stock explainable.

We can build supermarket POS and grocery-store software for barcode billing, purchases, batch and expiry records, cashier shifts and branch stock management.

Discuss My Store Workflow
Start with the work

What gets in the way of a good day?

01 / Business problem

Checkout waits while someone checks an item.

Barcodes, pack sizes, units and prices need consistent product records. We can design a counter workflow around the scanners, printers and sale types your store uses.

02 / Business problem

Stock is present, but the right batch is not.

A simple quantity does not explain batches, expiry dates, damaged goods or supplier returns. We define which products need those records and how staff receive, sell and adjust them.

03 / Business problem

Closing the counter means rebuilding the day.

Sales, refunds, discounts and payment totals should be traceable to a cashier shift. Agree who can authorise exceptions and how the closing figure is checked.

A workflow we can build around

Every step. Connected.

This flow is a starting point for discussing your operation. Select a stage to explore its place in the system.

Product — a stage to connect with the people, records and decisions around it.

Test your actual scanners, receipt printers and billing flow before rollout. Offline operation, payment connections and weighing-scale support require explicit scoping.

Potential custom capabilities

Build the parts your business actually needs.

We can design these capabilities around your team, records and business rules. The final modules, device support and connections are agreed for your project.

01 / Connected modules

At the billing counter

Build the sale around clear item identification, quantities and authorised price changes. GST categories and invoice fields are configured to your requirements and reviewed before launch; no tax treatment is assumed from a product name.

  • Barcode scanning and POS billing
  • Product catalogues and pack sizes
  • GST billing configuration
  • Discounts, returns and refunds
02 / Connected modules

Behind the shelves

Purchasing and receiving are part of stock control. Record supplier quantities, batches and expiry where applicable, then make damaged stock, adjustments and returns understandable.

  • Purchases and supplier accounts
  • Inventory movements
  • Batch and expiry tracking
  • Branch transfers
03 / Connected modules

Across counters and branches

Each cashier shift needs a clear opening and closing record. Multiple counters and branches also need agreed rules for product updates, permissions and how disconnected work is handled.

  • Cashier shifts
  • Multiple billing counters
  • Daily closing reports
  • Multi-branch management
What we design towards

A clearer way to run the daily work.

We agree the intended outcomes with your team and check them against complete workflows before rollout.

  • Give counter staff consistent item and price information.
  • Trace stock differences through sales, purchases and adjustments.
  • Reconcile each shift without combining unrelated counter records.
Before we begin

Questions from your side of the business.

How is this different from the Retail page?

Retail covers general selling and customer workflows. This page focuses on grocery and supermarket operations: barcode checkout, multiple counters, batch/expiry records and cashier closing.

Will our barcode scanners and printers work?

We review exact device models, connection methods and operating systems, then test them as part of the agreed scope. Compatibility is not assumed.

Can billing continue without internet?

Offline billing affects local records, synchronisation, duplicate prevention and recovery. We can assess that requirement, but it must be designed and tested rather than assumed.
